Slime effect. We have seen a slime king and a slime queen and even a slime mother, we have seen harmless slime and deadly slime but they all bow to Jubilex the faceless lord.
who is the demon god of all slime, blobs, ozz'es and jellys. This pore mans Lovecraftian nightmare sits alone deep in the lowest part of the dark lording over it's slime minions and ploting how it can get more friends.
