Effect. Despite it's frightining appearnce, this slime is pretty harmless. It gets it's nutriants via a organic prosess wher it "Rust's metal" and consumes the minerals. It waits for adventures to attack it, then it eats there swords and arrows.
Week to. Impact, Fire.

Slime name. Blood Pudding.
Slime type. Cuastic.
Slime speed. Medium.
Effect. Created via unknowm means, this bloob is made up of the blood and bones of the various creatures (and heroes) who have died within the area. Atracted to "Life" and movment it seeks to increse it's mass by devouring more living creatures.
Week to. Fire, daylight.

My 5th edition history as a GM

My 5th edition history as a GM D&D Next playtest 2 sessions Ran Runehammers Moloch campaign using 5th edition because they wanted to do an “Escape from jail” game. 15 sessions, before they used magic to escape to the surface and then got frustrated. Dwarf world game. 5th edition take on Pathfinders Kingmaker AP Lasted 5 sessions. Tomb of Annihilation Ran the whole module plus. Lasted ½ a year. Got to the end and they all wanted to retire their characters The great race. The last 5th edition game I ran, lasted 7 sessions. Players were total murder hobo assholes who killed NPC's because the NPC “Pissed them off. Arranged to marry Jubilex's daughter princess pudding, killed her, Summoned jubilex (QC 30, 515 hp, 6 attacks a round major demon) and killed him in two rounds and thought he was not so impressive That was it for me as a GM of 5th Probably would revisit the dwarf world, definitely would run the Moloch campaign and ToA again. Slime name. Party Blob/ Copy Slime/ Mimic #1
Slime type. Cute. Slime speed. medium.
Effect. This symbiotic slime follows behind larger predators and mimics there movemenst and basic shape,hoping this will trick larger creaturs in to avoiding it. In return it eats the insects and parasites that effect the larger predator.
Week to. Electricity

Slime name. Necro slime/Yuck mouth/Body Blob
Slime type. Caustic.
Slime speed. Slow
Slime effect. Attacks it's pray with acidic tenticals and then slowly disolves them, leaving only the bones and small inorganic matter behind (Coins and gems). The bones of it's pary sometimes animate on their own as Zombies/Skeltons-how this in fact happens is unknown (magic?). Necromancers are known to keep these blobs around to get rid of the "evidince" and because of this random skelton generation effect.
Week to. Fire,

Slime name. Graboid/Tangel slime/Giving tree
Slime type. Brute
Slime speed. Slow
Effet. The main body of this blob remains motionless beneth the ground whil it lash's out with it's sticky tenticals at anything that passe's by. This slime is known to often trade things it has taken off it's victims for larger and better things and clever adventures have traded with it to get gems, coins and once even an ice cream cone off the blob.
Week to. Sonics,Cold.

Slime name. Boo Slime/Fear Slime/Jump Scare slime.
Slime type. Psychic.
Slime speed. medium.
Effeect. On it's own the actual Blob is small and inofensive, but if it is threatened it releses a fear inducing phermone that can cause indivduals to run away sceraming.
Week to. Blunt damage, fire.

Happy Fathers Day. Slime of the day 6/20/2021

Slime name. Watcher/Lovely Eye/ Spectator blob.
Slime type. Psychic.
Slime speed. Medium.
Effect. Used as guards these blobs are able to fly via telkiniesis and there "eye stalks" allow them to manifest there telekinesis in various ways such as Pyro Keinesis.
Week to. Blunt force.

Its Saturday, time for a new slime. Slime # 11

Slime name. Slow slime/ Cold slime.
Slime type. Elemental.
Slime speed. Slow
Effect. Radiates intense cold that it uses to defend itself, frezeing almost anything that comes in to contact with it.
Week to. Fire.

Its Friday time for a slime. Slime #10

Slime name. Red Slime/Flame Slime.
Slime Type. Elemental.
Slime speed.Fast.
Effect. This slime is on fire, as to how it is on fire? It's body produces a goop that bursts in to flame when it comes in to contact with any surface. The flamibil slime burns it's pray and feeds off the chared flesh.
Week to. Cold/Water.

A bit late but this is the slime of the day. Slime # 9

Slime name.Green Blob.
Slime type. Caustic.
Slime speed. Medium.
Effect. Attracted by movment and/or noise the Blob atempts to enqulf its pray in its acid like body, disolving almost anything it touchs. Including armour and flesh.
Week to. Fire.

Slime name. Bone Biter/Grave slime.
Slime type. Caustic.
Slime speed. Medium.
Effect. This slime disolves the flesh off dead bodies, leaving behind cleen bones and any inorganic matter(Like coins) it could not digest. It ignores the living and is often used by larger monsters to keep their lair cleen.
Week to. Electricity.

Slime type. Cute.
Slime speed. Medium.
Effect. Just sort of stands around looking perplexed, if threaten​ it will just run away or offer it's attacker an Ice Cream. Mainly the mascot of this whole project.

It's Monday, you know what that means? More slime. Slime # 6

Slime name. Eye Spy/Floating eye.
Slime type.Psychic.
Slime speed. Average.
Slime effect. Propeled by lighter then air gas, these blobs look like giant eyes and make ear piercing noise when they are disturbed. This noise atracts other monsters and then the blobs feed off what ever remains after the fight.
Week to. Fire, strong winds.

Sunday slime a day. Slime # 5

Slime name. Creaping Death
Slime type. Caustic
Slime speed. Very slow
Effect.This vine like slime dangels down from cealings, the sliem produces a sticky resin. Anything that comes into contact with the slime is stuck to it's tendrils and slowly disolved (Think fly trap type plant)
Week to. Fire.

Name: Puffer slime.
Type. Caustic.
Speed. Slow.
Effect. Emmits toxic spores that infect their pray. The spores fill the targets lungs and eventualy sufocates them.
Week to. Magic , Fire.

Slime name.Dust Slime/Dust Devil
Slime type. Elemental.
Speed. Average.
Effect.This Blob seems to be composed of dirt and dust. Atracted to heat and movment it atempts to sufocate its pray with its dust like psudopods.

Type: Brute
Name: Cealing Slime.
Speed. Very slow
Week to. Fire.
Effect. Clings to the cealing of a cave and when pray pases underneeth the Blob, it drops down and impales/crush's the potential meal.It can slowly move back to it's perch once it has finished.

Effect. Remains imobil in small spaces waiting for pray to get close or even walk right in to it,the pary gets stuck in its body and the blob slowly disolves it.

Commen Name. Assassin Slime
Abilitys. Natural camflouge if not moving, clings to walls and cealings and drops on potential meals. Disoloving them .
Move. Slow.
Week to. Fire.

A Slime a day. A "monster manual" of nothing but Slimes' and Blobs

I had so much fun with the perviosu Slime Blog I thought, lets see how far this can go?
First we have to break the sliems down in to Clasification or Types (to barrow from pokymon).
Slime Types.
Elemental. Any slime that somegow creates elemental effects like burning or frezing.
Caustic. Any sliem that creates caustic efects like disolving or paraylizing. The most commen type of slime.
Psychic. Any sliem that creates effects like fear or madness.
Brute. Any slime that just uses brute force, like bludgoning psudopods.
Cute. Slime that is just cute
Other: leaving room to expand the list as the project grows.
So with that as our starting point, let the slime begin!

Slime's are a Game Masters best friend

Slime,Jelly's,Cubes, Blobs, Ooze, cubes, goop.
No matter what you call them they are your best friend if your a Game Master. Why?-Because.
1: They can be used in any type of RPG, not just fantasy but ANY . Dungeon Slime, Space Slime, Psychic Slime, Mine Slime, Scarry Slime, Old West Slime,Cyberpunk Slime, Bat Slime. They Fit in any type of game.
2: The Bad Guy does not have to pay them. Feed them. Tell them what to do. Provide them with insurance. Provide them with housing. Explain his motivation to them and best of all the Bad Guy does not have to listen to them complain
| 3: The Game Master does not have to explain them or why they are their, the Game Master can put them any where and the Game Master has an UNLIMITED amount of slime's at their disposable!
Yes my friend a Slime is your best tool and let us embrace them together!

Slime Types
Much like Pokemon, Slime can be broken down in to Types.
Elemental Type Slime's that somehow create effects such as Fire, Cold and Electricity.
Caustic TypeSlime's that dissolve,poison, sicken or create other caustic effects.
Psychic TypeSlime that can induce effect like fear,confusion or madness.
Cute TypeSlime's that are just cute.
Below are some example slimes to start this off. Enjoy!

Red Slime
Type: Elemental.
Effect. Contact with a Red Slime causes burning damage and flamibile objects like wood will burst in to flame if they come in to contact with a red slime.
Speed.Fast.
Week to. Cold damage.

Ornge Slime
Type. Caustic.
Effect. Expels spors if disturbed, these spors infect the living cuasing disease and eventual death. The slime then feeds off the corpse.
Speed. very slow.
Week to.Fire.

Yellow Slime
Type.Caustic
Effect.Disolves Organic matter(Flesh) and leaves the inorganic matter(Your cloths) behind.
Speed.Slow.
Week to. Fire.

Green Slime.
Type.Caustic. Effect. Disolves Organic matter.

Blue Slime
Type.Cute.
Effect. just sort of stands around looking goffy and/or perplexed.

Indigo Slime.
Type.Psychic.
Effect. Can cause confusion and madness as well as just being all Lovecraftian.

Week to.Sunlight.

Violet Slime.
Type.Caustic.
Effect. Emits a sweet scent that atracts small animals to it,they get stuck in the slime and are disolved.

Black Slime
Type.Cute.
Effect. Delicious.

White Slime
Type. Elemental.
Effect. Frezes anything it comes in to contact with.
